The Chair of Educational Technology and Instructional Design / Learning Lab of University Duisburg-Essen appreciates your interest in pursuing (post-) doctoral research with our team / at our university. However, please note the following:

Professor Kerres is not available as a supervisor for doctoral candidates that are not employed at the learning lab. The chair is not able to support applications for (post-) doctoral supervision or to act as a host for international (post-) doctoral fellowships.

This restriction also applies to applications for research grants or stays in Germany submitted by post-doctoral researchers (e.g., DAAD, Humboldt Foundation), as such requests cannot be supported.

Please note that our university does not offer a doctoral program in Educational Science.
