On June 24, 2026, the Learning Lab hosted a high-level delegation from Jordan to discuss strategic foundations for the new College of Advanced Vocational Training (CAVT) in Amman. The delegation was lead by Ammar Gharaybeh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the College.
Funded by the German government via the KfW Development Bank under the umbrella of the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF), CAVT aims to set a new benchmark for vocational education in the Middle East. The upcoming college will heavily rely on modern digital didactics, including blended learning, flipped classrooms, and AI integration.
Following an opening welcome by Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Marcus Roth, members of the Department of Vocational and Further Education—including Prof. Dr. Michael Kerres, Prof. Dr. Dieter Münk and Prof. Dr. Esther Winther—joined the workshop to share their expertise.
