Startseite ›Educational Technology: Research & Development has published a new Special Issue on Methodologies for Research on Educational Technology edited by Marco Kalz, Michael Kerres & Pasha Antenenko in October 2024. It consists of a range of papers that reflect on the state of research methods in EdTech Research and present new perspectives for the advancment of methodological innovations.
EdTech Research is still based on simple media comparisions that cannot provide sufficient insights into learning processes and do not contriute to theory building. Therefore, this special issue seems important to foster a scholarly dialogue about future directions of research methods and methodology in EdTech Research.
